Old Year 6!

WB 7th April

At the beginning of our first week back we had an entire day of electricity experiments.  All of the children enjoyed it.  We looked at circuits and symbols aswell. Then we looked at different types of formal writing. Today we finished our formal explanatory letter for being late for school.  We started reading a book called Kensuke’s Kingdom which was awesome.  Then we had half an hour outside.  Afterwards we illustrated some of Kensuke’s Kingdom.

Happy Easter

Thursday 20th March

Today in English  we did a piece of formal explanation writing and in maths we did rotating shapes. This afternoon we are tidying our trays & now we are going to do pe the girls are footy & us boys are doing tennis

Tuesday 18th March

Hi all,

Today we did an early morning reading test, we had to read a booklet about transport. After we had to answer another booklet! In the afternoon we made a human or animal with an egg, furthermore we had to make a background for it. On Thursday in  assembly they are getting judged by some very important people in Morley.

Friday 14th March

Today some people pratised for a cross country run. Whilst some people designed their Easter eggs and some of us finished our cushions that they have been making in D.T. In English we finished off writing our stories. Got to go now bye!!!!!!!

Wednesday 12th March

Today we learnt about reflective symmetry. Also we did practice sats questions on symmetry. In English we wrote a flashback for our story.  We also did a Science test.
